About MPS

The Castro Valley Music Parents' Society is the longest continually running booster organization in Castro Valley Unified School District. 

We provide volunteers and additional funds to our vocal and instrumental music department. In turn this also benefits the drama/theater departments at the middle schools and high school, which are fantastic programs as well. 

We also provide annual Music Scholarship funds for multiple graduating students. 

Our school district has 13 schools and nearly 8,000 students and each will, at one time or another, be served by the Music Department.

All MPS board members have a voice in disbursements from the MPS general fund, and look for new ways to keep the community aware of music program issues and needs. Please click here for a full description of each position.
